Concering the Zyxel/BCM/WiSIP phone I personally would not recommend it,
at least not in it's actual state.
I second this observation. The Zyxel/BCM/WiSIP phones are extremely raw at this point. I documented my experiences with one at http://slacker.com/~nugget/asterisk3.php I don't consider them to be suitable for a production environment.
