Mine is working fine so far. Issues, #1 make sure the mailbox is just a numerical value without any context defined in your /etc/asterisk/sip.conf.
In my polycom sip.cfg file I have: <msg msg.bypassInstantMessage="1"> <mwi msg.mwi.1.subscribe="8500" msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="registration" msg.mwi.1.callBack="8500" /> </msg> Jared Armstrong -----Original Message----- From: Noah Miller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, December 22, 2004 2:50 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: [Asterisk-Users] MWI not working on Polycom Phones Hi All - I'm running version SIP version 1.3.4 on various IP300, IP500, and IP600 Polycom phones. I'm having a tough time with MWI. I thought I remembered somebody on the list saying that they had it working, but I can't find it in the archives now. I have all the phones configured for MWI as specified in the WIKI: ipdmid.cfg: up.oneTouchVoiceMail="1" phone1.cfg: <msg msg.bypassInstantMessage="1"> <mwi msg.mwi.1.subscribe="" msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="contact" msg.mwi. 1.callBack="8500"/> </msg> I changed the callBack to the appropriate voicemail box (with context), but no dice. No lights or indicators are coming on when there is a message, and pressing the "Messages" button on the phone just dials the extension rather than opening the VoicemailMain app. Anybody have this working? What have I fouled up?
