Would it be correct that these licensing conflict only come into play if the combination is further distributed. It was my understanding that nothing in the GPL prevents you from mixing GPL code and proprietary code for your own private use; you just can't further distribute the combination since the GPL would require you to distribute source to the other pieces and you don't have that to do so..?
