Damn, that would have saved us a lot of time. We recently had to modify 55 headsets ... :(

You can buy plantronics for cisco phones as well.
Actually, we've worked with plantronics sets and they came with two wires, one that matches the handset plug of the cisco, and one that matches the headset plug of the cisco... YMMV I guess.
