Just thought I'd post an update on my progress.

- I asked ServiceObjects to create a Perl script - no response yet.
- I found this reverse lookup script that uses anywho.com:
http://search.cpan.org/~phocus/revphone-0.01/lib/revphone.pm. Managed to
integrate it with my email and jabber notification scripts without too much
hassle. Seems to work well, but for residential listings only - doesn't
work for businesses.

Missing business listings is not good - I'm going to keep looking for
pay-for and free solutions.

We have done some simple work on this via e164.org and the code we wrote for TXTCIDName()...

It looks for names and/or exchanges from TXT records stored in e164.org... This pulls the enum configuration from enum.conf but as far as I know we're the only one that ever implemented a TXT record to store names etc along with SIP records etc...

So far we have 2 zones, e164.org for people putting their names or other info and cc.e164.org stores a whole bunch of exchange information, we are always looking for more sources of data to make the information more granular as well...
