not all winmodem works as X100P. You should find a winmodem with the Intel Ambient MD3200 chip. It works great.

I've read that it is possible to setup * using a winmodem (linmodem). I was wondering if anyone on the list has setup * with a winmodem and if so how they did it. I have a pctel modem (pct789) I'd like to play with.
