Hi, Asterisk will work, but in your situation I think it's better use a SIP proxy for that (SER for example http://www.iptel.org/ser) which is really meant for this purpose

If all the phones support reinvite (Send RTP stream directly to each other). Or would I need more than 1 system to support 5000 phones in the enviornment described above. also I am not talking about the phones using meetme or voicemail or anything just calling each other after authenticating with the asterisk server using SIP. -- regards Vikram (http://www.vicramresearch.com) _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
