I've boot my asterisk backup server to ADSL and everything is working FWD, VoipJet. Short story: The only thing I've done differently is I've spoofed MAC address on the firewall on an external port - eth0 to get the same IP address from Shaw, but I don't see how that could make a difference. Long Story: Shaw has those new Cable Modem - Motorola SURFboard SB5100 that once configured to an IP address with one firewall it will retain that MAC address of that first firewall for about 4-hours. When I first experimented that Cable Modem I've connected my backup firewall and the Modem retained that MAC address. So in order to connect the second firewall and get the same IP address, I need to spoof the MAC address of the first firewall or wait 4-hours.
