If the lines are put in seperrate groups according to destination then each group can be accessed buy dialing 8+group number. Eg. 81 for trunks in group 1, 82 for group 2, etc

This applies to uk systems but I suspect the same feature exists in other variants.

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Panasonic KX-TD1232

If anyone has any experience with a Panasonic KX-TD1232 phone system, I would really like to talk to you for a few minutes.

I have asterisk connected to a Panasonic system via FXS -> CO ports.  I’m trying to get the Panasonic configured so that if someone dials a number (9) while Intercom is selected, it will select a line in the correct trunk group (Asterisk lines, rather than PSTN lines), then the user can finish dialing the asterisk extension.

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.
