Hi Jerry,

Asterisk uses a unstandard file format (file contents the video and RTP headers).

I had done in the past a tool to generate video contents using FFmpeg and a C application. I will publish it on our GitHub site this mounth (Merry Christmas!), I need to retreive the full project and add a README to explain the way to built and use it.

Regards,

I am trying to call a soft phone and play a video file.
Playback() says it understands h263.

But what is the "name" of the file? more specifically what is the ending?
I tried .mp4 .h263 and asterisk 13 says it cannot file a file.

I tried demo_h263.h263
demo_h263.mp4
demo_h263.flv

My call file is:
Channel: SIP/414
Context: smvoice-dialout
Extension: 999999
Priority: 1
Application: Playback
Timeout: 90
Codecs: h263,g722,ulaw,alaw
Data: /home/silentm/attachments/demo_h263

Thanks,

Jerry
