Thanks Nabeel, upgrading the firmware did it. My handset now rings! Old Version: 2.0.12(SEa) New Version: 2.0.13(SEg)
I was a bit worried that I'd have to install Windows on a machine just to install the firmware when I downloaded the file from sipura (it came with a .bin, and a .exe file), but it turns out that you can upgrade it with a web browser, and a web server by doing: http://<ip of sipura device>/upgrade?http://<webserver>/<path>/spa1001-02-03-13-SE.g.bin The sipura warns you not to cycle the power while it's blinking, and in about 20 seconds, it was done.
