Hi all, Let me introduce myself,
I am an IT manager for a London, Ontario law firm. I have met Leif and in fact work in the same building as his mother. I have been playing around with asterisk ( actually [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) for the past while and a few months ago Carol ( Leif's mom ) was bragging about Leif being an author. She forwarded my an email and it turns out that Leif was co-author of a book on asterisk. As I was fumbling a bit with asterisk I immediately ordered the book knowing it would be a good read. Well, as you will see below the book is now being shipped! I can't wait to get it and start reading and get a better depth on asterisk and VOIP in general. I wish I could attend the meetings but Toronto is just far enough away that it makes it difficult. I am acutally a subscriber of your guest speaker's business at your meeting tonight. I can tell you I get regular updates via email of any issues they might have and they seem very up front and honest about the VOIP business. Definitely they should be on the recommended list. My future projects will include tying asterisk into an M1 Meridian system with Succession 3.0 and ITG card. Looks like it will not be easy to do and the only info I have found so far suggests that I will need a PRI to PRI setup between the two. If anyone has had any experience in this area it would be great to discuss it. When I get my book I will be sure to pass along comments as I read!
