Hi, I¹m fairly new to the * selling game, I¹ve been using it since about April so I¹m completely comfortable with it and use it for myself at home and office.
I'm trying to make a big sale right now, they'll be getting 24 Cisco 7940s (of which I see $0) with service from Unlimitel re-sold by me. This will be my gateway company which I will be using 100% of the profit to upgrade my network for a bigger pipe for VoIP traffic only. The boss wants a couple testimonials from companies about the same size doing the same thing. With asterisk and a VoIP provider. I know it's a competitve world and you don't have name names (though it would help), but if you could give me anything to work with it would be awesome. I anticipate they'll have about 8 calls simultaneously at the most and and their internet connection is through IASL, very reliable 3mb wireless link. I will be adding a bonded DSL loop for redundancy once they start using the service. He was pretty confident in it before, but I have him using a Linksys WRT54GP2-NA at home now and he's getting lots of "distortion". I think it might be a busted router, according to Vonage's forums, they have some of the same issues. Either way, it's shattered his confidence in moving all of the business' service to this with a couple of PSTN backup lines in case of outage. Unfortunately I couldn't make it out on Wednesday to see Stephan's talk, it would have been nice to do this in person. Anyway, thanks, - Ian
