I was at Astricon :)
I am biased as I helping run the conference and was paid to attend,
but so far I've heard very positive reviews from the people who
attended regarding the quality of the speakers. The network had a few
hiccups, but I'm pretty sure I've got those sorted out (btw: m0n0wall
rocks).
We had a post-mortem conference call yesterday with things which we
need to improve in the backend, plus coming up with new ideas to add
to the conference, making it even more worthwhile to attend.
All in all, my opinion is that this version of Astricon went much
smoother than the first, and the one in Madrid and contained more
content. We hope to extend this to future Astricons.
