I hadn't read the bug report, but I was aware of the delay problems. I
noticed the same thing with only two SIP handsets when I had transcoding
going on -- even simple transcoding from alaw to ulaw would introduce
upwards of 500ms of delay. That might also explain why the 'i' option
dissapeared when I switch my demonstration from HEAD to Asterisk 1.0.9
STABLE...

It's by no means a quality application, but... it's simple from the
dialplan's prespective, which is what I think is important. It means that
someone can tear it out, and replace it with something that does the same
job, only better -- which I've heard from Shidan, has happend in OpenPBX.

That simplicity also allows you to cobble odds and ends together, and
build on that unix philosophy of writing applications that do one thing,
well. Or, in this case, somewhat adequately ;-)
