I have a friend who is interested in setting up a system to allow mobile users to check in with a central office using their cellphones. (1 incoming line - PSTN for now)
The users would dial in, type in their PIN code to identify them, and then type in the phone number of the account they have visited. There would need to be an indication to the mobile user that they entered a valid account and that the transaction was recorded. A date/time stamp would be logged in a database for reporting purposes. I am quite certain this could be accomplished using asterisk - Are there are * consultants/vendors out there who could arrange for such a program to be built? They are relatively inexperienced with Linux/* so, there may be recurring service revenue for this project - on the other hand they may need some initial support to get everything going, but it seems like a straightforward project that could be done in a weekend. You can contact me on or off list as appropriate: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks, Aaron
