Thanks guys. I have a DID from unlimitel working now, using IAX. It seems to work from without requiring any port forwarding. I am able to use it from hotel room (I am currently in Dallas) with a laptop to call out and the quality is not bad. I made two calls one to Guelph and other to India and both parties reported good call quality. However on the call to India, the person I called seemed to cut out from time to time, ie I could not hear what she was saying. Anyone experienced this before ?
One more question, I did some research on analog adaptors (1-2 port) and only found digium's IAXy as a only choice for IAX protocol. Any others easily available in Canada or US and of decent quality. thanks, Shuchit
