I've just put together a quick hack of an Asterisk Manager Interface
protocol for use within Twisted. It's a straightforward implementation
(too tired to do anything funky tonight). It doesn't yet handle
non-response events, but otherwise it seems to do much of what's
required. For those who like Twisted-style asynchronous programming
feel free to check it out.
