Henry,

If you access Voicemailmain(s$EXTEN) you can bypass the need to enter
the mailbox and passcode.

>From http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+cmd+VoiceMailMain
VoiceMailMain([EMAIL PROTECTED])

Enters the main voicemail system for the checking of voicemail. The
mailbox can be passed as the option, which will stop the voicemail
system from prompting the user for the mailbox.

If the mailbox is preceded by 's' then the password check will be
skipped. If a context is specified, logins are considered in that
context only.

Subject: Re: [on-asterisk] writing replacement voicemail application

Hi Simon, I would like to see access to the voice mail system made
easier for the owner of the box .
If the owner is accessing his/her box from their designated extension
they should not have to dial the extension number and code.
Also, the recording of announcements and playback should be inside the
VM menu system (advanced options) not separate feature codes.
On another tack, a dictation recording system would be a nice
additional feature.
On record "1" would be the record button '2' the pause button and "3"
to end recording.
On playback similar buttons would enable the message to rewind skip
forward etc.

Good luck

Henry
