Kevin, Sorry for the delay, fell off the planet for a week or two with work.
I'm definitely no expert (hadn't even heard of asterisk before last summer). And it is possible that I just fluked my installation. The only settings I have tweaked that may possibly affect echo are the tx/rxgain for the FXO (and I actually need to boost the rx a little more when I get a minute). While I did have a little difficulty integrating with Asterisk (in my case asterisk @ home), I have not had any problems with echo on the spa-3000. I have improved the copper on my side of the demarc - was quite a mess, including some electrical tape type connections hiding in a ceiling. Sorry I have no magic bullet for you with your echo problems. If you haven't already, I would compare the call quality (and echo characteristics) when dialing through to the FXS (i.e. take asterisk out of the equation). That should help you isolate the problem to within or without asterisk. Then you will know where to concentrate your efforts. The important thing with asterisk is keep hacking! -- sacha On 1/27/06, Kevin Peck <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Dear Sacha: > > I'm also using this device, Sipura SPA-3000.
