That's exactly how mailing list software SHOULD work.  You should be using 
your "reply to list" function, not "reply". In kmail it's simply 'L' instead 
of 'R', and 'A' is reply to all.  :-)

I just checked on a colleague's Outlook system...  Surprise of surprises, it 
has no concept of a reply to list.  I haven't really used my gmail account 
but I would be flabbergasted if those folks didn't have such a function.
