For origination and on-net termination, I don't believe you can do better than Unlimitel. I have never been more impressed by a VOIP provider than I am with these people. They are proactive, friendly and completely professional. Their customer service is quite literally second-to-none. Technically speaking, they support SIP or IAX2 connectivity and offer gsm and g729 in addition to ulaw. I am completely and totally happy with these guys. I do not use them for off-net termination only because their off-net rates are significantly higher than Nufone's standard rates. And no, I'm not affiliated with them in any way other than a very satisfied customer. -A.
