Nuts, now I am not sure which we should buy.

WRT54GS or the WRT54GL?

Didn't I read at one point that you couldn't put Asterisk on one of these?
Linksys changed the firmware so it didn't work anymore.

You have to make sure you don't buy v5 model, as mine is v2, 32M RAM vs 16M for WRT54GL.

How can you check? Can you check before you open the box?

I currently run [EMAIL PROTECTED], but besides AMP, I don't use any additional
features
except sending out an email for the VM. Can this still be done using one of
these boxes?

TIA,
Dave

To be member of Dave Cook's alley, I just bought a Linksys WRT54GS from staples. It is $79.95 after $20 instance discount and $20 mail-in-rebate this week. The original price is $119.95. It is the same model as Dave's one shown on VON. You have to make sure you don't buy v5 model, as mine is v2, 32M RAM vs 16M for WRT54GL.

Now I have to figure out how to install Asterisk on it. Hope Dave can post some direct information here.
Good luck. :-)

BTW I really think this list needs to default to reply-to the list.
