Thanks for the responces.
XP was able to find the driver for x100p automatically (online) and installed it properly but even then it didn't work (still have to do some more testing though).
So how does VMware support other cards? e.g. Sound Card, LAN card... (has the bridge been worked for them in VMware already?)

There is no way that your vmware image will see it unless someone
writes the bridge for vmware, using the vmware api .......... you will
see that coming much sooner for xen than vmware, as their already is a
virtual T1 card for it. Either way, I wouldn't hold my breath for the
the next 18 months. Thankfully VMWare is viewable source now so I'm
sure people will start working on things like that.
