I just installed 2.8 (freePBX) and there seem to be a lot of new things or ways to do things easier. (gotta get some time to explore it)

FreePBX is the new name for AMP (Asterisk Management Portal).
[EMAIL PROTECTED] is merely a compilation of a range of apps and tools around
Asterisk, including AMP/FreePBX, and put on a bootable install CD.

Whenever there's new versions of the apps compiled into [EMAIL PROTECTED], there's a
new release of [EMAIL PROTECTED] with those updates.

I just went to download [EMAIL PROTECTED] and noticed FreePBX.org...

Are they one and the same? Are they just trying to brush off the "@Home"
tag that hurts it?

Regards,

Chuck
