Remove the alterations u put in /etc/hosts and sendmail.mc
You should just need to alter /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
find:
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DS
and add so reads:
DS smtphm.sympatico.ca
Save and restart sendmail
Should do it!

Hello everyone,
Previous versions of [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> were very
flexible in sending voicemail attachments to email but Trixbox is a
bit restricted. You just needed to specify your email address in the
email field GUI to get it working, but now it's a different story. I
have tried including
127.0.0.1 yahoo.com asterisk1.lcoalhost
to the /etc/hosts file and also then tried providing smtp server
values in /etc/mail/sendmail.mc as follows:
*define(`SMART_HOST',`smtphm.sympatico.ca')*

*I am using sympatico dsl.
Despite all these changes I am still unable to get voicemail to my
either hotmail or gmail accounts.
Could it be a NAT problem?
Did anyone have the same experience with trixbox or [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>?
