Silence Threshold works nicely, after 10 seconds of silence it will
hangup.

This while thread is a great reaon to push users in the 10 to 12 line
range to go for a PRI..

If you look in the vm_general.inc config file, the default maximum
voicemail 
length is 3 minutes (180 sec.)   I thought there was a way to lower this
with 
FreePBX but that must have been another version of *.  Anyway, that
setting definitely affects the length of time the line is held open if
someone gets to voicemail and  just hangs up or doesn't press the #
when done.  This affects the spousal allowance factor also. Any point in
playing with the other settings there, such as the silence threshold?
