Chad,

First I am not the tech, I am commercial. But since I am the North American
that speaks English, I am the one that taps into the TAUG for info. So this
will explain why my response, or lack thereof, is absent of a more profound
technical explanation.

Apparently, we had a mismatch on the configuration of the D channel between
the asterisk and Sangoma configurations. Plus, we only had one of the E1s
configured, not properly I might add, and that's why they weren't reporting
correctly in the wanrouter.

To answer your other questions, we are only using one provider for both E1s
and so far no routing issues whatsoever. However, the issue of using two
different clocks from two providers is an interesting point I will keep in
mind, since we may be using the cards in a more extensive array in the near
future - in a data center environment where we have many telcos. I will
mention this issue to my engineers for feedback.

Regards,

Tupper

Subject: RE: [on-asterisk] HELP! problem with installation of a Sangoma A102

I'm glad to hear that it's up and running, if you don't mind me asking, what
was the problem?

Did you track it down to a specific issue, or did you re-build the
configurations?

I'm interested to know if you have two different E1 providers, and if you
have any issues routing calls through the two of them.

I know that some timing differences can be handled by the card, but I think
that if they are using two different clock sources from two different
providers, that there may be an issue, then again, it may only be in MeetMe
applications.

Good to hear it's up and running.

Chad
