Vonage has a great feature called Simulring that allows you to specify
multiple numbers to ring simultaneously. I used that feature for the
last couple of years. In the last few months Vonage seems to have revved
some software and in many circumstances the feature does not work,
especially with a rogers cell phone (for some reason). You get some
pretty funky behaviour happening. Due to the fact that vongae support is
basically non-existent, I have given up with them and would like to
implement the same feature on my trixbox.
Seems easy to do with Ring Groups, however, big problem is that the
system does not pass along caller ID. I just see the caller id of the
trixbox trunk. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get this to work? I am
using unlimitel trunks on the trixbox.
