Today we will be joined by Hung Lam, Director of Aastra's IP Product
Portfolio. He will be speaking on XML driven applications for IP phones,
which is similar to using HTML and a web browser.
"Aastra's line of SIP phones offer system integrators and service
providers with the ability to develop custom applications that are
accessible via the phone. In this talk, we will discuss the XML API and
tools available from Aastra to facilitate development of these
productivity enhancing applications. Aastra has developed some simple
applications such as stock quote, weather, news, and area code lookup
which are freely available from our server to demonstrate the power of
XML on Aastra SIP phones."
