With regard to Screen Caputure/Recorder, it is possible to do this with free
software. I have done it once, and it was a while ago, so I will not be able to
help you further but I will tell you the tools I used so you can decide for
yourself if they will be useful to you.
The tools were:
- VNC -- Virtual Network Computer,
- lame -- MP3 encoder,
- pyvnc2swf -- VNC screen capture tool generates a shockwave flash movie,
- python -- required for pyvnc2swf
Basically you:
- record a screen capture session
- separately record the audio
- finally you combine the two
As you can imagine the resulting file can be played in a web browser with the
appropriate plug-in.

Subject: [on-asterisk] Successful Asterisk presentation at Career Door.
Can anyone recommend me a good software, preferably Open Source (I tried
camstudio) - that will allow me to convert my power point into FLASH animation,
or even AVI/MPEG/or DIVX? I'd like to make all slides that was prepared for
the Asterisk & VOIP presentation available on my site for anyone to download --
vs. an attachment here.
As the last possible scenario - I may consider spend some money for a good
product (under $100) - but I definitely don't want to pitch in $200+ for a PPT
to Flash converter.
Additionally I'm looking for some sort of Screen Capturer/Recorder which
allows you to record all your mouse movements and allows voice narrations.
Any ideas & suggestions to make a killer Asterisk Web Intro would be great!!!
That's all for now!
Cheers,
Reza.
