Syd and Liviu thanks for the inputs. I got it working. I beleive specifying DNS
in /Voice_adminpage.htm helped me out. I can connect LAN to WAN of WRT54GP2 and
it works fine. There is no STUN server involved in my setting. Even DHCP is
still enabled on WRT and it still works. I will leave it like it is just to
avoid further complications :)However, I am surprised how little knowledge
Linksys Help Desk people have. I tried their Live Chat and everytime they took
too long to tell me to use a crossover cable (which didn't help again) and
connect LAN to LAN of WRT54GP2. Anyways....problem solved. Time to set these
unlocked  gadgets.Thanks,BruceFrom: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED];

cascading routers

Hi Bruce,

What does the asterisk log say when it can't establish the
bridge ? Have you tried "sip debug peer 192.168.2.10"
?
Do you have a STUN server configured in your voice
settings ? Try disabling it, because it may tell your trixbox to talk to your
wrt54gp2 through the WAN port of your DSL modem/router combo.
Finally, regarding the fact that you can't ping the
wrt54gp2 through the WAN port, it could be simply that the wrt54gp2 is set to
reject pings from the internet (as far as that router is concerned, the
192.168.2.10 is the "internet"). I think you can disable that through the
Security -> Filter -> Filter anonymous internet requests option. However,
I don't think that's going to help with your issue.

  Subject: [on-asterisk] cascading
  routers

  Hello everyone,My Linksys WRT54GP2
registers nicely with my TBox but once I dial out the native bridge between
Tbox trunk and WRT54GP2 fails (I knwot his from CLI logs). I know something
is
wrong with my network setup; plz help me find it. This is my
  setup:Internet => DSL Modem/Router Combo => WRT54GP2Internet
=> DSL Modem/Router Combo => TBoxDSL uses ip range:
192.18.2.xWRT54GP2 uses same ip range: 192.168.2.x and infact has
192.168.2.10They are both on same subnet: 255.255.255.0DHCP is turned
on on DSL Modem/Router combo but it is disabled on WRT54GP2.I know why the
native bridge doesn't happen though. It happens because if I have a PC
connected to main DSL Modem/router it can not ping WRT54GP2 even though
WRT54Gp2 has obtained the 192.168.2.10 ip. But, if I connect PC directly to
WRT54GP2 directly then I can browse internet and also browse admin page for
WRT54GP2.Any solutions? Basically I want to cascade these two routers but
it doesn't seem to work :(thanks
