Hey Folks,

 

First post to the group and it's more about Polycom phone configuration.  I
work at a small office with a support queue and I'm wondering if it's
possible to have the volume on the phones automatically increase say after
5pm so someone down the hall can hear them ring.  I was hoping I could just
run a cron job at 5pm to increase the volume.

 

I've checked the admin manual, but am unable to find a volume parameter in
the sip.cfg (if it's even in there).  Any expert Polycom users that know of
a setting like this?  We're using Polycom 501's with sip v1.6.5.

Or, maybe it's even doable through the asterisk config, but I'm thinking
it's a phone config thing.
