Hi, I have 2 identical PCs with the exception that one has a Digium card (3 ports) and the other one without.
The one with the Digium card is my live server and the other one is a backup server. In my failover exercise, I restored the HD image on the backup server. When Asterisk started, it exited with code 1. When I checked the /var/log/asterisk/full file, it complained about the following: Chan_zap.c : ERROR unable to load channel 1 - no such device. Chan_zap.c : ERROR unable to register channel. It seems that I do not have a Digium card and hence the error. Is there a config I can tell asterisk to start without a Digium card. I do not trust that such card is mandatory for Asterisk to startup. Any suggestion is appreciated. Richard
