>From my experience with other telecom products, whenever a switch needs to send DNIS information (coming through from a PRI for example) to a device connected to an analog FXS port, the DNIS information gets converted to plain DTMF tones sent in-band. Most if the time it's just the plain digits. Other times, there may be other information, separated through either # or * Obviously, in Asterisk you can use the SendDTMF() command to do this
