After a day and a half spent getting cross compliers, libraries, tool chains, etc built and working, I now have Asterisk 1.4.13 working natively on the Apple iPhone:

bash-3.2# ./asterisk -r

Connected to Asterisk 1.4.13 currently running on Gamble's IPhone (pid = 1575)
Cannot read termcap database;
using dumb terminal settings.

So far I've made registered a few sip endpoints to it and made some calls, but have not done extensive testing yet. Is anyone else interested in the working binaries? I'm going to be creating a project page for this port of asterisk in the next few days, but I wanted to announce this port to the group in case anyone is interested in working we me on support this going forward (or maybe just playing with it!)

Look forward to hearing from any like minded iPhone users! I know have a PBX in my pocket :-)
