Hey all! I'm a telecommuter and do 99% of my work from my home office which basically consists of a desk, a pad of paper, a laptop, and a few VoIP phones. I've started to consider spending a few of my days out of the home office just so that I can see what the real world looks like again, and wondering if anyone has done such a thing? I don't want to spend a ton of money just getting Internet access that I'm not familiar with.
I'd like to get any opinions from people who have done this on a fairly regular basis and can recommend good spots to work for a good 2-5 hours at a time. I'm looking for a spot that sells things other than coffee (since I don't drink it, but tea is cool -- and ideally some healthy food for lunch and afternoon snack), doesn't have extremely expensive Internet, and a wireless network connection that is good enough for VoIP. Am I asking for too much? I've heard about Linuxcaffe, but never tried it out. Was thinking that'd probably be my first stop in trying this "work out of the office" thing :) Recommendations and thoughts welcome! -- Leif Madsen. http://www.leifmadsen.com http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/asterisk --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
