I don't recommend the Linksys WIP3xx either. Here's my review/rant:

- Web based GUI is okay; like other linksys/sipura devices

- Character input is not intelligent, invovles switching character sets
repeatedly rather than making it a multi-tap operation, or
quick-switching with a single key (my 7 year old Siemens A56 GSM phone
has this sorted out, this isn't rocket science!)

- Configuring a SIP account from the handset requires going to multiple
submenus, some of which have the same information as others

- The most necessary function, connecting to an access point, is
completely non-intuitive and again invovles many submenus, and
  duplicated information

- Battery life is probably okay, if you don't accidentally pop it out
and shut it off while doing basic opeartions, like holding it in your
  hand

- Once fully configured, most of my phone calls proceeded like so: "Am I
connected? No... Why not? *Hits register button*, am I connected now?
What's taking so long... No, my SIP account is unregistered? Or is it
the wifi? What? I just wanted to make a phone call. Screw this!
  *shoves phone in desk drawer*"

Hi,

Anyone has positive experience to share about Wireless IP phones ? Any models in particular you recommend ?

We had tried the Zyxel at one point but battery life really suck.

 Thanks.
