This is all I could find. There really isn't a true SIP client for iPhone which is what I want. Not sure why??
Fring http://www.fring.com/download/iphone/ (note: not yet supported on 2.0 firmware, tried it on 1.1.4) - it really is beta software - I installed it, tried it, provided feedback on the forum, and removed it Siphon http://code.google.com/p/siphon/ (note: not supported on 2.0) - it is a SIP phone developed for the Touch and will work on the iPhone, but it only uses the speakerphone (as Touch doesn't have phone speaker) so it really isn't a viable option - although it is the best application Truphone http://www.truphone.com/iphone/ - It is a SIP app I believe, but requires you purchase Truphone minutes, so it isn't an asterisk solution (at least that I can see) - didn't try it - but it is on the apps store so it will work with firmware 2.0 -----Original Message----- Subject: [on-asterisk] IPhone, SIP and Asterisk Hi, Anyone tried any SIP softphone on the iPhone and would like to shard their experiences? -- Andre Courchesne --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
