I am in a situation where I have a very weak signal on a cell phone... Specifically iPhone 3GS... Does anyone know how to locate a cell tower that a cell phone is hooked up to?
Throwing the iPhone into field test mode "*3001#12345#* Call" gives me lots of information, but how can I actually know exactly which tower I am linked to and exactly where the tower is? As well, most guides online for this seem to not have the same screens displayed). I would like to get a directional antenna and point it directly at the tower.
