Some of you guys have a lot of Nortel experience, so here's a question for
+you...
A buddy has two of these animals:
meridian n t 4 x 4 1 just marked meridian on the front
and
meridian n t 4 x 4 4 marked meridian and also centrex on the front
He says the cables are rj45 on the phone end and rj11 on the wall end.
Question #1:
Can these be coerced to work with asterisk? Perhaps a rom flash or
+something?
Question #2:
If the answer to #1 is yes... What pinouts are used on the cables?
Will+a standard etherent cable (rj45 <-> rj45) work? (probably not, but we can
hope)
