Looks like I found my own answer. First of all, I found that I don't really need the Unit Manager and the adapter can be configured via the web page, on port 8080 as root / 5678. Second, I noticed the option to configure the SIP server through DHCP which needs to be turned off. Third, in the Authentication settings, Validate Realm needs to be turned off.
