Hi all, I am going on vacation in a couple of weeks and so I have set up a Zoiper softphone on my Laptop so I can make international calls to Canada via my Asterisk box. Actually since I downloaded the Zoiper I set up both an IAX and SIP softphone using two different extensions 203/204 I noticed that while the SIP phone works with my external domain name (on the same LAN) my IAX connection will only works if I use my local server's IPaddress. i.e. doesn't recognize the domain name. I'm sure that if I use the IAX connection outside of the LAN using the domain name it will work but why doesn't it work from the LAN side?
