Hi everyone, We are working on a case to centralized voicemail messages for a 500+ seats setup.
I was thinking of using Asterisk voicemail with ODBC storage using an external mysql server. My question is has anyone used voicemail ODBC storage with an external mysql server? If so, was it reliable? Did the asterisk server lost it's connections to the mysql server, did you had to restart asterisk once in a while? With our current setup using flat file voicemail storage, we never have to restart our voicemail server, so I am looking for the same reliability with the voicemail ODBC storage setup. I would appreciate any feedback on this voicemail ODBC storage feature. Thanks and enjoy this day off!
