I upgraded from 1.6.2 to 1.8 the same day it was released, and so far so good. I don't have large dialplans, though; I mostly use it AGI driven (through the asterisk-java library).
The only change I had to make was the use of commas instead of pipes for separating options while calling MeetMe commands through AGI - for some reason 1.6.0/1.6.1 was using commas and in 1.6.2 they reverted back to pipes, and now in 1.8 they are back to commas. ________________________________ From: Liviu Toma <[email protected]> Reply-To: <[email protected]> Date: Thu, 28 Oct 2010 09:17:36 -0400 To: <[email protected]> Subject: [on-asterisk] Anyone tried Asterisk 1.8 yet ? Hello, Has anyone tried Asterisk 1.8 yet ? Does it work with config files from 1.6.2 or it requires some (or a lot of) changes ?
