Thanks for sharing with us Reza. When there is an outcry from the community, I am sure it will give Mobilicity the bad reputation they deserve. I am surprised they didn't negotiate with you solely based on customer satisfaction basis. Gotta commend Rogers when it comes to this type of things :-)
I thought they might have blocked your access under Fair Usage policy. SSH can be used for secure tunneling or other legit uses for personal reasons so why block it? A Smart phone now-a-days has tons of apps that allow all sorts of services to run on it - so port blocking is essentially internet censorship in a modern fashion under the nose of CRTC. Way to go.....yet they blame Iranian government for cutting people from Facebook.
