There is no proper source for asterisk and official response from Digium is to browse: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Home
And that is much worse than voipinfo.org as it doesn't even have complete topics. It would probably take 5% more time to document the changes for developers as they develope but will take 10 times that time for other users to log the changes or go on a scavange hunt. Specially at the pace that Digium changes things. The keep up with Digium would be a nightmare probably but I like the idea of having a solid source. So, how does this work? you vote on questions and then they get answered by a team? or is this the foundation for another voip-info.org? -Bruce > Date: Tue, 3 May 2011 17:08:41 -0400 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: [on-asterisk] The decline of voip-info.org > > voip-info.org seems to be the source for out-of-date information. > Where does everyone go now to find the latest information and feature > caveats for running your asterisk systems? > > I found a proposal for a stackoverflow.com site for telephony, however > it needs more followers and votes on good/bad questions before it > moves out of the "defintion" phase: > http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/12932/telephony?referrer=C8aJJir1H9AFK9yUPwMC_g2 > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] > For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] >
