Hi guys,
I am looking for a Linux SIP softphone that has:
- auto-answer capability (either in it's config or responds to a sip
message)
- can be configured (extension, proxy and secret) via the command line
or via an xml/text config file
- runs under CentOS 5.6
- not buggy and stable
- Able to run in a livecd environment
Zoiper Free fills all but the auto-answer...
Linphone, well last night was not able to compile under CentOS 5.6 (will
still be trying)
Twinkle, not maintained since 2009...
Ekiga, no new release since 1 year... And was quite unstable last I tried.
That's the short list...
As mentioned this is a CentOS 5.6 livecd environment. Right now I have a
working solution based on ZoiperFree which auto-provision based on the MAC
address of the PC it is booted on, but the auto-answer is becoming a
requirement.
