Quick question about latency updates for "qualify=yes" when it involves realtime peers.

There is a "lastms" field in Asterisk Realtime architecture - where we get the latency stats **during the time of the registration** of a sip end point. When we do a "sip show peers" in the CLI, we see a more up to date latency stat (both for realtime peers, and static peers).

Our work around solution to get a more accurate/recent latency is a small script connecting with AMI, for the realtime peers. However I like to know the advantages and pitfalls if we were to update the latency in real time, if this is at all possible in the first place... and if possible, how do we do it?

Feedback and suggestions appreciated!

Best,
Reza.
