[Astlinux-users] Development environment in a VMWare image?

I thought I posted this before, but I can't find it.  How difficult would it be to put the developement environment into a VMWare image?  I don't have another spare computer hanging around and would like to be able to compile some of the fax solutions for testing.

Is this something trivial that I could easily accomplish, or is it best left to somebody with some experience?
